Font-lovers rejoice! Let me introduce you to Alex Haigh’s all new visually driven, Hype For Type; a one-man font shop that is taking on the big boys with a catalog of over 35,000 of the world’s very best fonts – many you can’t find anywhere else.

I must say, Alex has done a tremendous job with the overall UX of this new website, which makes finding the perfect font, a breeze. The stunning visuals, the full-colour type specimens and array of filters make the whole process faster, easier and more enjoyable to use.

My favorite section is the ‘Fonts in Use’ gallery which is not just inspirational, but a fresh new way to shop for fonts. I encourage you check out Alex’s HypeForType shop and consider it next time before buying a font from the big foundries – you may just find a better or more unique font here.
